The Nonnewaug Chiefs softball team scored 12 runs and held the host New Fairfield Rebels to 7 in the Chiefs non-league win on Monday.

The Chiefs now possess a 21-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thomaston for a Berkshire battle on Tuesday, May 27.

With the loss, New Fairfield moves to 7-12 on the season. The Rebels host Danbury (Danbury, CT) to confront the Hatters in a non-league battle on Friday, May 30. The Hatters come into the battle with a record of 15-6. Danbury lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against Darien (Darien, CT)
