In Saturday's non-league game, the host Cary-Grove Trojans baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Niles North Vikings.

The Trojans (14-7) will now prepare for their game against Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Red Raiders enter the Fox Valley - Valley game with a 12-10 record. In their last game, Huntley was overwhelmed by Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL), 17-12, in a non-league game.

Next, the Vikings face the Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL) in a Central Suburban - North game, on Monday, May 5. Niles North will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record.
