Indiana High School Baseball - Morgan Township prevails Lowell

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN) and the host Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN), saw Morgan Township's baseball team gain a win over Lowell by a tally of 11-2.

The Cherokees (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-Township (LaCrosse, IN). The Tigers enter the Porter County battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Tri-Township was overwhelmed by Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN), 16-15, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Red Devils encounter the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads bout, on Monday, May 5. Lowell will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Fighting 59ers enter the bout with a 15-1 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Penn (Mishawaka, IN).
