The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the North Monterey County Condors (Castroville, CA) and the host San Lorenzo Valley Cougars (Felton, CA), saw North Monterey County's baseball team gain a win over San Lorenzo Valley by a tally of 5-2.

The Condors (12-10) will now prepare for their battle against Alisal (Salinas, CA). The Trojans enter the PCAL - Mission battle with a 12-7 record. In their last battle, Alisal held off Greenfield (Greenfield, CA), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Cougars face the Santa Cruz Cardinals (Santa Cruz, CA) in a Santa Cruz Coast battle, on Tuesday, May 6. San Lorenzo Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 11-11 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Burlingame (Burlingame, CA).
