Kentucky High School Baseball - Holy Cross holds off Bracken County
May 5, 2025: Covington, KY 41015 The Holy Cross Indians baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Bracken County Polar Bears to 3 in the Indians non-league win on Monday.
The Indians now hold a 12-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boone County for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. Holy Cross will play a Rebels team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Ryle (Union, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 3-13.
With the defeat, Bracken County drops to 3-13 on the year. The Polar bears travel to Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. The Lions go into the test with a record of 3-18. Lewis County lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against East Carter (Grayson, KY)
