May 6, 2025: Conway, AR 72034 The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Conway Wampus Cats (Conway, AR) and the visiting North Little Rock Charging Wildcats (North Little Rock, AR), saw Conway's baseball team gain a win over North Little Rock by a tally of 16-6.
The Wampus Cats (24-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR). The Hurricane enter the 6A Central battle with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Jonesboro gained a win over North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR), 7-1, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, North Little Rock drops to 9-12 on the year. The Charging wildcats host Central (Little Rock, AR) to clash with the Tigers in a 6A Central challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 14-13. Central won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR)
