The Cardinal Mooney Cardinals lacrosse team (Youngstown, OH), was tipped 9-8 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH)

With the victory, St. Vincent-St. Mary advances its record to 5-10 on the season. The Fighting Irish travel to Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH) to encounter the Green Wave in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. The Green Wave come into the battle with a record of 14-1. Holy Name won 9-6 in their recent league battle against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH)
