South Carolina High School Softball - Chapman drops to Palmetto
May 7, 2025: Williamston, SC 29697 Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC), 12-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Palmetto improves its record to 13-11 on the year. The Mustangs host Woodruff (Woodruff, SC) to face the Wolverines in a non-league game on Friday, May 9. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 12-8. Woodruff lost 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Union County (Union, SC)
The Panthers now hold a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pendleton for a non-league game on Friday, May 9. Chapman will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to West-Oak (Westminster, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-12.
