The Potomac Falls Panthers softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Meridian Mustangs to 3 in the Panthers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Panthers now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lightridge for a Potomac battle on Thursday, May 8. Potomac Falls will confront a Bolts team coming off a 11-1 league win over Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA). The Bolts record now stands at 15-0.

With the loss, Meridian moves to 5-11 on the season. The Mustangs host Millbrook (Winchester, VA) to confront the Pioneers in a Northwestern battle on Friday, May 9. The Pioneers come into the battle with a record of 7-6. Millbrook won 24-0 in their recent league battle against Handley (Winchester, VA)
