The Howland Tigers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Lakeview Bulldogs to 2 in the Tigers non-league win on Thursday.

The Tigers now hold a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host Edgewood for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Howland will play a Warriors team coming off a 12-8 league loss to Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 7-10.

With the defeat, Lakeview drops to 10-8 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to South Range (Canfield, OH) to play the Raiders in a Northeast 8 Athletic test on Monday, May 12.
