The St. John Fighting Herald baseball squad (Ashtabula, OH), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH)

With the triumph, University School moves its record to 18-2 on the season. The Preppers host Mentor (Mentor, OH) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league contest on Friday, May 9. The Cardinals come into the contest with a record of 13-4. Mentor lost 5-0 in their recent league contest against Medina (Medina, OH)

The Fighting Herald now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Geneva for a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 13. St. John will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 12-6 league win over Conneaut (Conneaut, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 5-9.
