In Thursday's league test, the Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA), by a tally of 15-0.

Next, the Bisons clash with the North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 9. Bedford will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 4-12 record after their 9-5 league loss to Rockwood (Rockwood, PA).

The Huskies (1-12) will now prepare for their test against Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Rams go into the Laurel Highlands 1 test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Richland prevailed over Somerset (Somerset, PA), 2-0, in a league test.
