In Friday's non-league game, the host Chichester Eagles baseball team scored a close 8-7 victory over the Penncrest Lions.

The Eagles (12-4) will now prepare for their game against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA). The Friars/Pandas enter the non-league game with a 13-5 record. In their last game, Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic held off Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA), 8-5, in a league game.

Next, the Lions face the Radnor Raptors (Radnor, PA) in a Central game, on Monday, May 12. Penncrest will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Raptors enter the game with a 9-3 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA).
