North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN), 6-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, North Central moves its record to 3-10 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Loogootee (Loogootee, IN) to confront the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, May 10. The Lions come into the match with a record of 1-9. Loogootee lost 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN)

The Panthers now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covington for a Wabash River match on Saturday, May 10. Riverton Parke will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Seeger (West Lebanon, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 9-7.
