In Friday's non-league match, the host Bedford Bisons softball team scored a nice 14-0 win over the North Star Cougars.

The Bisons (13-7) will now prepare for their match against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Red Devils come into the Laurel Highlands 1 match with a 14-4 record. In their last match, Central Cambria notched a victory over Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA), 13-11, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Northern Bedford County Panthers (Loysburg, PA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, May 13. North Star will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 9-8 record after their 6-5 league loss to Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA).
