The East Central Trojans softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Madison Cubs to 3 in the Trojans non-league win on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rushville for a Eastern Indiana battle on Saturday, May 10. East Central will confront a Lions team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN). The Lions record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Madison moves to 8-8 on the season. The Cubs host Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN) to confront the Cougars in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10.
