The Meridian HomeSchool FLYERS softball squad (Meridian, MS), 11-9 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Sylva Bay Academy Saints (Bay Springs, MS)

With the triumph, Sylva Bay Academy improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Saints host Laurel Christian (Laurel, MS) to clash with the Lions in a bout on Tuesday, August 26. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-2.

In their next game, the FLYERS clash with the Kemper Academy Rams (DeKalb, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 14. Meridian HomeSchool will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
