With the win, Winn improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Lytle (Lytle, TX) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 14. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Lytle lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Uvalde (Uvalde, TX)
The Tigers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laredo LBJ for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 12.
