In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Sun Valley Spartans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mallard Creek Mavericks.

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
