The Jackson Red Devils softball squad (Jackson, GA), was edged 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA)

With the triumph, Lamar County improves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Trojans host Crawford County (Roberta, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
