In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Episcopal Knights volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Westlake Chaparrals.

Next up, the Knights face the Pearland Oilers (Pearland, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 14. Episcopal will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Oilers go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to St. John's (Houston, TX).
