Texas High School Volleyball - Katy tips Grand Oaks
August 14, 2025: Katy, TX 77494 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Katy Tigers (Katy, TX) and the visiting Grand Oaks Grizzlies (Spring, TX), observed Katy's volleyball team hold off Grand Oaks by a count of 2-1.
The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Aledo (Aledo, TX). The Bearcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Aledo got by Freeman (Katy, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Grizzlies now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Lakes for a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. Grand Oaks will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
