Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Alto Yellowjackets (Alto, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Overton improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Leverett's Chapel (Leverett's Chapel, TX) to face the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, August 16. The Lions go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Yellowjackets now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cumberland Academy for a non-league test on Friday, August 16. Alto will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Rusk (Rusk, TX). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
