August 15, 2025: Alto, TX 75925 Clifton Cubs (Clifton, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Alto Yellowjackets (Alto, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Clifton improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Cubs travel to West (West, TX) to face the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 3-1. West won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mumford (Mumford, TX)
Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Riesel Indians (Riesel, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 16. Alto will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX).
