Dawson Eagles (Pearland, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Tompkins Falcons (Katy, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Dawson improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Seven Lakes (Katy, TX) to meet the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Seven Lakes won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX)

Next, the Falcons meet the Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 16. Tompkins will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 6-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Magnolia (Magnolia, TX).
