Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX) and the visiting Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX), observed King's volleyball squad notch a victory over Sinton by a score of 2-0.

With the win, King improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs host United (Laredo, TX) to encounter the Longhorns in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. The Longhorns go into the battle with a record of 4-0. United won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX)

The Pirates now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeSoto for a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. Sinton will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
