La Jolla Country Day Torreys (La Jolla, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, La Jolla Country Day advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Torreys travel to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
