Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees (Corpus Christi, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Tuloso-Midway improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Warriors & Cherokees host Hardin (Hardin, TX) to meet the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Hardin lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Victoria East (Victoria, TX)

Next, the Pirates meet the Nederland Bulldogs (Nederland, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 19. Vidor will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 4-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rouse (Leander, TX).
