In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Prestonwood Christian Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Wylie Pirates.

The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Leopards enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Lovejoy beat The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 17. Wylie will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Allen (Allen, TX).
