Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Cornerstone Charter improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC) to meet the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 0-1. Ayden - Grifton lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC)

The Rockets now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Mecklenburg for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. A.C. Reynolds will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
