August 16, 2025: Corpus Christi, TX 78408 Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) followers went home happy Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX), 2-0 in a non-league outing.
The Pirates now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington Heights for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 16. Sinton will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Miller drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX) to confront the Hornets in a 5A Region IV District 29 match on Tuesday, August 19. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 3-2. Flour Bluff won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Rouse (Leander, TX)
