In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Moapa Valley Pirates.

The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Buchanan (Clovis, CA). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Buchanan gained a win over Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

With the loss, Moapa Valley drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Foothill (Henderson, NV) to play the Falcons in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 16. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
