The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) and the visiting Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC), saw Aiken's volleyball squad nip Mountain Island Charter by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Aiken upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Fighting Green Hornets travel to Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, August 18. The Warriors enter the test with a record of 0-0.

The Raptor (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC). The Lancers enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
