August 18, 2025: Murfreesboro, TN 37128 The Brentwood Bruins (Brentwood, TN) volleyball held off the host Blackman Blaze (Murfreesboro, TN), 2-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bruins now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Summit for a AAA District 10 bout on Thursday, August 21. Brentwood will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Valor College Prep (Nashville, TN). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Blackman falls to 0-2 on the year. The Blaze travel to West Point (Cullman, AL) to confront the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, August 22. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 0-0.
