In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Duncan Demons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Elgin Owls.

The Demons (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Newcastle (Newcastle, OK). The Racers come into the test with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Newcastle beat Del City (Del City, OK), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Owls play the Cache Bulldogs (Cache, OK) in a Wichita Mountain challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Oklahoma Bible (Enid, OK).
