Eupora Eagles (Eupora, MS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS), 20-3 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Eupora improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Nettleton (Nettleton, MS) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, August 26. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the loss, South Pontotoc drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS) to battle the Chargers in a non-league test on Friday, September 2.
