August 19, 2025: Brawley, CA 92227 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Brawley Wildcats (Brawley, CA) and the visiting Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA), observed Brawley's volleyball team top Palo Verde Valley by a count of 3-0.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against High Tech SD (San Diego, CA). The Storm enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record.
Next, the Yellow Jackets battle the Central Spartans (El Centro, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 21. Palo Verde Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans go into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Oceanside (Oceanside, CA).
