The Collinwood Trojans prevailed the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Summertown for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. Collinwood will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Perry County (Linden, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Mt. Pleasant drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Lewis County (Hohenwald, TN) to confront the Panthers in a A District 11 match on Thursday, August 21. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 1-1. Lewis County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Columbia Central (Columbia, TN)
