The Leverett's Chapel Lions held off the visiting Cumberland Academy Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lions now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hawkins for a non-league test on Saturday, August 20.

The Knights (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Gorman (Tyler, TX). The Crusaders enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
