Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers confront the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 25. Cox Mill will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Garner (Garner, NC).

The Vikings now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weddington for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 23.
