The Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers felled the host Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars football team by a score of 35-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hustlers meet the Trinity Catholic Celtics (Ocala, FL) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 29. Melbourne Central Catholic will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Celtics come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL).

With the defeat, Somerset Academy - Canyons drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Somerset Academy (Pembroke Pines, FL) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, August 29.
