LaVille Lancers (Lakeville, IN) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Bethany Christian Bruins (Goshen, IN), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, LaVille improves its record to 3-4 on the season. The Lancers travel to Lakeland Christian Academy (Winona Lake, IN) to meet the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 25. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.

Next, the Bruins meet the South Bend Career Academy Trailblazers (South Bend, IN) in a Hoosier Plains challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Bethany Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
