In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Liberty Redhawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Coronado Thunderbirds.

The Redhawks (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Eagle Mountain (Fort Worth, TX). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Eagle Mountain achieved victory over Prosper (Prosper, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Thunderbirds now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Odessa for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Coronado will meet a Bronchos team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Bronchos record now stands at 6-5.
