August 21, 2025: Monticello, GA 31064 The Jasper County Hurricanes volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Redan Raiders to 0 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hurricanes now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Dublin for a 1A Area 2 outing on Tuesday, August 26. Jasper County will play a Fighting Irish team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Redan drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Raiders host Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 26. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 0-3. Lovejoy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA)
