August 21, 2025: Gardena, CA 90249 Lawndale Cardinals (Lawndale, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lawndale improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cardinals host Gardena (Gardena, CA) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, August 25. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Cavaliers now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Roads for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 25. Serra will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Alliance Bloomfield (Huntington Park, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-2.
