California High School Volleyball - Otay Ranch overwhelmed by San Marcos
August 22, 2024: San Marcos, CA 92069 San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, San Marcos improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Knights host La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA) to face the Mavericks in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 3-5.
The Mustangs now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Capitan for a non-league test on Monday, August 26. Otay Ranch will face a Vaqueros squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 4-4.
