Battle Ground Academy Wildcats (Franklin, TN) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Jackson Prep Patriots (Jackson, MS), 48-13 in a non-league match.

The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Columbia Academy (Columbia, TN). The Bulldogs come into the Division II-AA Middle match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Columbia Academy routed Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TN), 36-25, in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Parklane Academy (McComb, MS). The Pioneers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
