The Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) football trounced the host Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC), 58-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Butler for a non-league game on Friday, August 29. Corvian Community will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 32-14 non-league win over Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their game against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, East Mecklenburg was overwhelmed by Hopewell (Huntersville, NC), 22-15, in a non-league outing.
