In Friday's non-league match, the host Middle Creek Mustangs football squad scored a good 37-7 victory over the Fuquay - Varina Bengals.

The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Storm go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Willow Spring overcame Triton (Erwin, NC), 45-6, in a non-league battle.
