Luther Prep Phoenix (Watertown, WI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Jefferson Eagles (Jefferson, WI), 28-21 in a non-league battle.

With the triumph, Luther Prep upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Phoenix host Kettle Moraine Lutheran (Jackson, WI) to meet the Chargers in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Kettle Moraine Lutheran won 28-14 in their recent non-league test against Campbellsport (Campbellsport, WI)

With the defeat, Jefferson drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI) to meet the Blackhawks in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Blackhawks come into the test with a record of 0-1. Fort Atkinson lost 48-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Beaver Dam (Beaver Dam, WI)
